What the EU AI Act requires from your data

Watch the recorded session on what the Act actually requires at the data layer, where most organizations stand today, and what an AI-ready, audit-ready foundation looks like in practice.

Relief, not exemption

In May 2026, the EU's Digital Omnibus pushed the high-risk deadline out. That bought organizations real time, and it's also the moment most of them will waste it.

The obligations didn't disappear. They resolved into a small set of questions about your data that no model can answer on its own. Answer those, and you've satisfied most of what the Act asks. Skip them, and the deferral just delays the reckoning.

One deadline moved. Not the one you think.

Most teams are tracking a single clock. There are two, and they move independently. Miss the wrong one because you planned around the other, and the deferral hasn't helped you at all. We walk through which obligations apply now, which ones you've actually been given more time on, and what to do with that time.

About Timextender

Timextender offers the Timextender Data Platform, a unified platform with four modules: Data Integration, Data Enrichment, Data Quality, and Orchestration. The modules operate independently today as standalone products, and we are actively unifying them into a cohesive web app, eventually connected by shared metadata across the platform.

Timextender helps teams build AI-ready data using metadata-driven automation across any data source, while supporting deployment across cloud, hybrid, or on-prem environments.
