TimeXtender Receives Three “Best Places to Work” Awards

BELLEVUE, Wash. – Jan. 6, 2022 -- TimeXtender has won several "Best Places to Work 2022" awards from Built In. Specifically, TimeXtender was named one of the Seattle Best Places to Work, one of the Seattle Best Small Companies to Work For, and one of the top companies for Seattle Best Benefits for its Bellevue, Washington location in the Seattle-based business community.

TimeXtender has had a business location based in Washington for many years and has been named one of the fastest growing private companies on numerous occasions. Despite its long-standing success, during the pandemic, TimeXtender took one of the more proactive measures for established businesses by rolling out a new, innovative organizational structure and work culture for its employees. By being a fully distributed company, Xpeople (the employees at TimeXtender) are now working remote from any location while collaborating with fellow Xpeople through modern technology that provides video conferencing, collaboration, communication, documentation, and project management. The company also provides financial support for home-office setup and membership for attending workspace offices near one’s home.

“TimeXtender is honored to be recognized for our corporate culture, work environment, and the benefits package that we provide for the Xpeople.” said Anne Krog Iversen, co-founder, chief DNA and culture officer. “For many years, we’ve worked tirelessly to build a corporate culture that supports Xpeople and reinforces the importance of life balance, efficiency and team orientation. It’s a real honor to be in the company of other business leaders in the Seattle area, and to be recognized for our fully distributed organizational structure and progressive corporate culture.”

The annual awards program includes companies of all sizes, from startups to those in the enterprise, and honors both remote-first employers as well as companies in the eight largest tech markets across the U.S. Built In determines the winners of Best Places to Work based on an algorithm, using company data about compensation, benefits and companywide programming. To reflect the benefits candidates are searching for more frequently on Built In, the program also weighs criteria like remote and flexible work opportunities, programs for DEI and other people-first cultural offerings.

“It is my honor to extend congratulations to the 2022 Best Places to Work winners,” says Sheridan Orr, Chief Marketing Officer, Built In. “This year saw a record number of entrants — and the past two years fundamentally changed what tech professionals want from work. These honorees have risen to the challenge, evolving to deliver employee experiences that provide the meaning and purpose today’s tech professionals seek.”
