The redesigned TimeXtender Desktop interface makes it easier to work without setup delays. Colors are more balanced, and commonly used view options like "Show Data Types" and "Highlight Descriptions" are now turned on by default—so teams can start building right away.

In the Portal, loading times have been drastically improved, especially for teams managing many instances. Page delays and timeouts have been reduced, making administration smoother at scale.

Smarter Execution in Microsoft Fabric

Prepare instances on Microsoft Fabric now execute in a single step. No more manually assigning each execution to a plan—the system takes care of it. This change helps teams make full use of Microsoft Fabric’s High Concurrency Mode, improving performance and reducing compute usage. It’s a big win for anyone running frequent or complex Fabric workloads.

Metadata Where You Need It

You can now choose where to store your metadata when creating a new instance: West Europe, Central US, or Southeast Asia. This lets you align storage with your teams or compliance needs—cutting latency and boosting performance.

Faster Ingest, Less Manual Setup

Query performance during Ingest operations has been improved with updated indexes and optimized queries. These changes help reduce execution wait times, especially during busy periods in large environments.

Teams upgrading from earlier TimeXtender versions now benefit from smarter component handling. The Ingest Configuration Tool detects and imports data source provider components from previous installs—reducing setup work during upgrades without rebuilding connections.

Greater Stability Across the Board

This release includes key fixes to improve system stability, execution accuracy, and user experience.
Some highlights:

• Improved handling of execution states when no tables are processed.
• Fixed execution deadlocks under simultaneous package schedules.
• Clearer error behavior for renamed REST sources and schema naming in SQL environments.
• Long text values (over 43,679 characters) now preview and query without causing crashes.
• Better responsiveness and memory handling in the Metadata Manager.

Better Sign-In and Integration

Account setup issues in the Portal have been addressed, including support for password policies and external login providers like Microsoft and Google. Qlik integrations have also been updated to ensure accurate authentication settings and compatibility with the latest Qlik Sense version.
