Also Takes Home Silver and Two Bronze Stevie® Awards for Great Employers
Accolades Mark Third Year Running for TimeXtender to Win a Stevie® Gold
AARHUS, Denmark & BELLEVUE, Wash. – Aug. 8, 2022 –TimeXtender has been named the winner of the Gold Stevie® Award for “Employee Relations Team of the Year” in the seventh annual Stevie Awards for Great Employers.
TimeXtender was also awarded the Silver Stevie for “Achievement in Workplace Health & Wellbeing,” a Bronze for “Achievement in Employee Engagement,” and a Bronze for “Achievement in Workplace Design.”
The Stevie Awards for Great Employers recognize the world’s best employers and the human resources professionals, teams, achievements and HR-related products and suppliers who help to create and drive great places to work.
Over the last year or so, TimeXtender’s employee relations team in coordination with the company’s Executive Circle, transformed its successful business into a fully distributed, fully remote global organization with headquarters “in the cloud,” as it seeks to set humans free to focus on life balance and output over hours. It has become a leader in remote work by taking its modernization efforts to new levels with these programs:
Supporting remote work by investing in enterprise technology and by offering financial assistance for home office setup: computer, WiFi, and phone. The company offers financial support for membership to co-located office workspace and maintains office space for those looking to work from a traditional setting.
Redesigning its culture based on organizational purpose circles to establish freedom and autonomy.
Providing programs in weekly planning/prioritization inspired by Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, a moment of silence to commence meetings, and online breakfasts.
Offering virtual weekly recharge sessions during the workday so the Xpeople can recharge with mindfulness, breath, body and mind exercises.
Hosting a new program called “Barstools” so that the Xpeople can informally socialize online as you would at a hotel bar, and “Café Karmas” where the Xpeople can socialize with work colleagues on topics such as books, recipes, current events, etc.
Sponsoring a new program called “InspireOn” workshops with motivational guest speakers to talk about business, productivity, well-being, and life balance.
Offering eligible Birth Parents/Legal Guardian up to four weeks full paid leave before expected birth/arrival of child, and 20 weeks full paid leave after birth/arrival of child.
Offering Xpeople unlimited paid time off used at their discretion.
Planting trees for each one of its partners, every time a partner closes a deal and every time TimeXtender recruits a new Xperson. To date, TimeXtender has planted 4,875 Trees -- of 500+ Native Species -- Across 30+ Countries -- and Offset 646 tons of CO2 per year.
Providing a program for purchasing carbon offsets for travel using The Gold Standard. Each employee that travels in a month fills in a line on a spreadsheet that calculates carbon usage for travel and then purchases and expenses carbon offsets, and TimeXtender reimburses the purchase.
Four Sustainable Impact Goals: striving to be climate friendly; giving back to cities and communities; building social connections and helping with health/well-being; providing high-quality education.
Here’s what some of the different award judges had to say about TimeXtender’s employee relations and engagement, health and wellbeing programs, and workplace design:
“TimeXtender's Team and the cultural vision they have created is a futuristic GAME CHANGER!!!”
“Lots of great initiatives and ideas around employee relations which contribute to engagement, wellness, satisfaction, performance, and more. Keep up the great work!”
“You have demonstrated a well thought out and executed employee relations program. Be proud! Nicely done.”
“It is a well-established company with enough documentary evidence to show that it took good initiatives for employees in 2020.”
“There are many hurdles current employers have to jump to become a company of the future. TimeXtender has done it! I wish most companies could function this way and will be interested to follow their development as we see what changes work and what doesn't post-COVID. TimeXtender is leading the way.”
A lot of companies choose corporate values because they think that is what you are supposed to do, but they don't actually live by them when it comes to managing their teams. This is clearly not the case at TimeXtender! There is a plethora of positive employee-centric, remote-friendly, engagement strategies outlined in the submission and the only question I have is: Where do I sign up?!
“The new programs ‘Barstools’ sand ‘Café Karmas’ are indeed assisting very positively towards more socialization. ‘InspireOn’ workshops are positively focused on well-being aspects. Being named as Data Warehouse Solution of the year is worthy of mention plus three best places to work in and other awards.”
“One of the smartest work environments, I have seen. The organization knows exactly its goals and people and understands that its employees are not only partners in success but also the backbone of the impact they want to make. Although working remotely could be challenging to some people to stay on track, but TimeXtender showed an incredible supporting system to boost productivity and wellbeing.”
TimeXtender continues to receive industry recognition for its modern-day business approach in employee relations and work culture. In fact, this is the third year in a row that TimeXtender has won a Gold Stevie Award: the others were in 2021 for “Covid Response – Most Innovative Workplace Redesign” and in 2020 for “HR Department of the Year – Employee Relations Team of the Year.”
“Our team has done it again! I’m so proud of the work that our employee relations team has accomplished in cultivating a unique, healthy, high-performing culture to support the Xpeople here at TimeXtender,” said Anne Krog Iversen, Chief DNA & Culture Officer, Co-founder at TimeXtender. “Employee relations has always been a cornerstone at TimeXtender, but even more so today as we are now a fully distributed, fully remote global organization. Offering unique ways for all of us to interact and socialize is at the heart of helping us to make greater strides in empowering the world with data, mind, and heart -- because time matters.
“It’s always very exciting to be acknowledged for making a difference in providing a modern-day, work environment where current and future Xpeople can feel at ‘home.’ To be recognized as the ‘Employee Relations Team of the Year’ once again is quite an accomplishment for our team -- one that will be proudly shared by all of us here at TimeXtender.”

Making the right decisions in any company is crucial for both short and long-term success and sustainability. Data is a critical component, and many companies believe in being data-driven. The reality is, that we all have bias, and we all have things we believe in - anything from how to design products, act in the world, communicate and set up our organizations. This is all driven by mind and heart, and it is what makes one company stand out from another. The old saying goes, “you get what you measure,” and this is where we strive every day to help with better access to relevant data. But any decision regarding what we will measure and how is not driven by data, but by people with purpose, beliefs and gut feeling. So we believe that data, mind, and heart need to go hand in hand to make the best possible decisions.
TimeXtender, through its data estate builder, empowers you to implement a modern data estate 10x faster with a simple, drag-and-drop user interface for ingesting and preparing data for analysis. It seamlessly overlays and unifies your data infrastructure, connects to 250+ data sources, and provides all the powerful data preparation capabilities you need in a unified, secure, future-proof solution. The underlying code is generated automatically, which reduces build costs by 70%, frees data engineers from tedious, repetitive tasks, and provides less-technical business users with a no-code experience for creating their own data products. We do this for one simple reason: because time matters.
