Day 1

Platform Introduction and Project Setup

Introduction to TimeXtender Classic:
Overview of the platform, architecture, and core components. Understanding the low-code/no-code approach.

Foundational Concepts:
Business Units, staging databases, Modern Data Warehouse, and Semantic Layer. Data estate lifecycle and best practices.

Project Repositories and User Management:
Creating and managing project repositories. Configuring users, permissions, and security. 

Hands-On Exercise:
Set up your local development environment.

Day 2

Data Extraction, Modeling, and Staging Databases

Data Extraction with Business Units:
Connecting to source systems and extracting data into staging databases. Handling initial data loads and transformations.

Data Modeling in the Modern Data Warehouse:
Building logical and physical data models. Managing relationships, hierarchies, and business logic.

Staging Databases:
Overview of staging databases and their role. Creating and configuring staging databases. 

Hands-On Exercise:
Implement data extraction and modeling workflows.

Day 3

Deployment, Delivery, and Scenario Analysis

Deploying Your Data Estate:
Deployment targets and options. Optional: Deploying to Azure SQL Database.

Delivering Governed Datasets in the Semantic Layer:
Creating and managing semantic models. Enabling self-service analytics and data governance.

Real-World Scenario Analysis:
Review and troubleshoot real-life data estate challenges. Collaborative problem-solving and Q&A. 

Best Practices and Action Planning:
Optimizing your data estate for performance and scalability. Developing a roadmap for success.
