Featured Image

The internet is abuzz with news about log4j. If you're not sure what this is then you can read here: Log4j vulnerability: Companies scramble to gird against hackers : NPR

Of course, our partners and customers are concerned about their TimeXtender solutions being at risk as well.

Luckily, TimeXtender does not use the same development framework and therefore is not directly affected by the vulnerability.

TimeXtender's Data Estate Builder is developed using .NET Framework and does not utilize Java runtime or it's associated libraries, such as Log4j. Therefore, TimeXtender is not affected by the Log4j vulnerability.

In addition, Apache has released two security patches to address these vulnerabilities.

Our support team has written a brief article about it below and encourage you to point any concerned parties this direction to learn more.

If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are here for you.
