Why working at TimeXtender is fun?
It's great to be part of a global company where you have the opportunity to work with fantastic partners while planning your own agenda!
Since "the main office" is located at my home, for me personally that meant creating a place where I feel relaxed and supported by technology to get my work done right.
I like a natural environment, so I put lots of plants in the room and even decorated the wall with a beautiful wallpaper showing a fantastic landscape in Italy, one of my favorite countries. So every day I feel like saying, "let the day begin!"
We also have a great product and a vision of where we want to go and the role we could play with our Data Estate Builder: to be the bold and disruptive challenger in the market.
The beauty of working at TimeXtender is that the vision and goals are clear, but the way we want to achieve them is really up to the team itself.
In that sense the organization is supportive and open to the path we think is best.
This gives room for a growth mindset and trying new things. Of course, this also brings some challenging situations, but that's only a good thing and fun, because we want to be able to laugh at ourselves, don't we?
Just to give you an example of that, we are trying to do more with video messaging now, which is challenging for someone who grew up in a time when phones were still made of Bakelite.
When you work from home and plan your own agenda, you have the ability to be flexible and do the things you need to do at a time that works best for you.
Example: a few weekends ago there was a really big storm in our area.
The morning before the storm, I decided that the only way to avoid the risk of a tree falling on my head and to keep my socks dry was to go for a walk before the storm.
Then, I took a long walk to get some fresh air and some exercise.All this is absolutely OK, you don't need permission, you make your own decisions about work schedule and output. How great is that!
Anyway, even after 4 years at TX I still love working here and feel like things are always improving and getting better.
