TimeXtender Tuesday - Episode 3

The next topic in our series will cover using an Azure Data Lake for the ODX Storage. If you'd like to review the previous steps so you can follow along, check out our TimeXtender Tuesday playlist on YouTube.

If you have a TimeXtender App Server configured but need to get the ODX Storage configured, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS) is a recommended way to keep performance high and costs low. Joseph Treadwell will walk-through the process of setting up the storage account in Azure, and then configuring the ODX Storage in TimeXtender.

  1. Create an Azure Storage account (ADLS Gen2)
  2. Create a Service Principle (App Registration)
  3. Enable App Registration access to Azure Storage account
  4. Add ADLS Gen2 as ODX Storage
