A key configuration choice here is the semantic model JSON output location. When you deploy the semantic model, TimeXtender writes a JSON representation of the model to that location. The MCP Server reads that file to expose the schema and business context to AI clients.
In the TimeXtender Data Integration Desktop, you build the semantic model against the MCP endpoint just like you would for other endpoints: select the tables and fields you want to expose, define relationships, measures, and hierarchies, and keep the surface area intentional.
