AARHUS, Denmark and BELLEVUE, Wash. – December 2016 – TimeXtender, a software leader dedicated to democratizing access to corporate data, today announced its inclusion in the Software Magazine’s 2016 Software 500 global ranking of the world’s leading software and service providers.

TimeXtender was included in the report based on its Software/Software Services revenue for the 2015 fiscal year. Furthermore, the company was rated in the “Top 10 Fast Growth Company in Revenue Under $10 million.”  This is the second year in a row for TimeXtender, as it was named a Software 500 Company for 2015 as well. The company was also previously ranked as a Deloitte’s Annual Fast 500.

Now in its 34th year, the Software 500 is a revenue-based ranking of the world’s largest software and services suppliers, who target medium to large enterprises, their IT professionals, software developers, and business managers involved in software and services purchasing.

“The Software 500 offers a comprehensive overview of the software industry, across a wide range of market segments, intended to help CIOs, senior IT managers, and IT staff research and create the short list of potential new customers and business partners,” said Thomas Tetreault, publisher/editor-in-chief, Software Magazine. “It’s a quick reference for them to validate vendor viability.”

The study includes revenue from software licenses, maintenance and support, training, software-related services, and consulting. Suppliers are not ranked on total corporate revenue, since many have other lines of business, such as hardware. Financial information is gathered by a survey prepared by Rockport Custom Publishing, LLC. using public documents and company input.

The study is published in print, as well as posted online at softwaremag.com as both a digital edition and searchable database.
