At timeXtender, we want to give our partners and customers maximum insight into how solutions are designed with timeXtender. We also want to ensure that your company achieves optimal return on its investment. That's why offering professional instructor-led training is a key service.

In the courses, we expand your timeXtender skills and knowledge, and after attending the training you will possess the technical skills needed to implement BI solutions using timeXtender.

Our emphasis is on understanding timeXtender and gaining an overview of all the possibilities it brings to the BI world. All key concepts are presented in depht during the training sessions, and timeXtender's own technical consultants conduct the training. This way, we can ensure that you are trained by specialists who know all the ins and outs of the product.

The courses combine theory and hands-on assignments, so that you are able to explore the product yourself and ask questions.

This season we offer two types of courses: a 2-day "timeXtender User" course, and a 1-day "timeXtender Professional" course.

All pre-scheduled timeXtender courses take place at timeXtender headquarters; Klamsagervej 35, DK-8230 Åbyhøj - and are normally conducted in Danish.

On request we are offering training on your location in English, so you can learn just what you need, when you need it.

Cancellation /transfer policy
We understand that plans can go wrong and sudden illness can occur. However, due to administration costs in connection with the course, a cancellation/transfer fee will be charged.
The course registration is binding, and full course fee is to be paid prior to course date according to terms of payment stated on forwarded invoice.
Our cancellation/transfer fees are as follows:
• Cancellations/transfer requests received from registration until 14 days prior to 1st course date will incur a cancellation/transfer fee of 25% of full course cost.
• Cancellations/transfer requests received between 8-14 days prior to 1st course date will incur a cancellation/transfer fee of 50% of full course cost.
• Cancellations received within 8 days prior to 1st course date will incur a full course cost.
Please also note that failure to arrive will incur a full cost of course fee.

Course Description

timeXtender User - two-day Course

This course provides a solid grounding in the basic skills needed to implement a BI solution with timeXtender. It is designed for users who have a basic knowledge af relational databases, cubes, dimensions, and pivot tables.

The course covers an entire project from start to finish, complete with data sources, staging database, data warehouse, and cubes. Upon completion of the course you will beable to do the following:

1: Create and maintain projects

2: Extract data from various data sources

3: Extract data via Application Adapters

4: Carry out data wash and data validation

5: Enter data in a data warehouse

6: Construct cubes with multiple dimensions, fact tables and calculated values

7: Scheduling projects

timeXtender Professional - one-day Course

This course builds on the concepts introduced in the timeXtender User course. It is designed for BI specialists who want to be able to implement complex solutions with timeXtender. Before attending this course you should have completed the timeXtender User course or have experience with implementing traditional BI solutions or solutions based on timeXtender. There is an optional certification test offered with this course.

The course focuses on extending and changing an existing project. Upon completion of the course, you will be able to do the following:
