Tight Integration with Microsoft SQL Server
TX2014 is built for Microsoft SQL Server and works seamlessly with Visual Studio and other platform tools. You can, for example, build SSIS packages in Visual Studio and execute them through TX2014.
Whenever Microsoft releases a new version of SQL Server, we make sure your existing projects still work. We tune our code generation engine to take advantage of any improvements that can speed up your project execution, giving you better performance without any work on your part.
Qlikview Modeler and Script Generator
QlikView is a popular presentation tool that enables business users to rapidly build views and dashboards. However, the backend implementation can easily get complex and time-consuming, due to its need for scripting.
In TX2014, you can create QlikView models that are ready for import into your QVW documents. This eliminates the need for scripting in QlikView.
Models generated by TX2014 are optimized for performance by including surrogate keys for composite joins instead of slow and complex synthetic keys. TX2014 also uses the resident clause and allows for storage into QVD files for better performance. You can also include translations to create models in several languages.
