About Carl Hansen & Søn...

 

On the 29´0th June 2003 the inauguration of a new carl Hansen & Søn Møbelfabrik A/S factory took place on a 30.000 m2 land area in Aarup near Odense, Denmark.

 

Although the factory has been equipped with the latest high quality machinery the furniture is still produced according to the old traditional manners by a staff of highly qualified people. Most of the employees have worked for Carl Hansen & Søn during the past many years.

 

At the factory in Aarup - Carl Hansen & Søn only produce chairs designed by Hans J. Wegner. The Tables designed by Hans J. Wegner and Marianne Wegner are produced at our fully owned subsidiary Tranekaer Furniture.
